WOW!  What a beautiful surprise!  Thank you so much for the wonderful decorations and the food!  We had some very yummy treats!  I brought in creamisicles for the kidlets, but I’ll let them eat it tomorrow (and spoil their dinners two days in a row!)

This week for sharing, the letters of oo and they can be anywhere in the word!  The number is 200!

The words are ropes, bones, kites, bees, cakes, boxes, foxes, roses, and Edmonton is the bonus word!  The sentence dictations are: 1. The bees were in the boxes of roses.  2.  The foxes ate bones.

Don’t forget that we have a field trip to Bamberton Provincial Park for their Beach Seine program!  Remember to pack your water shoes, a towel, extra socks, a hat, a rain jacket, your lunch, and your positive and happy attitude!

This is Mrs. Hillier’s last Friday with us!  We are going to miss her!

And this is Mrs. Ogden’s last week of music with us too!

Things are starting to come to an end, but don’t forget to keep on reading and sticking to the routines so that our last month of school is still running smoothly!!

Just over 5 more weeks left of school!  Can you believe it?

Mrs. Donlevy has now started her 5 week practicum with our class!  She will be teaching some Dr. Seuss literacy units, Numeracy (addition and subtraction to 20) and some Science (force and motion)!  We are excited to have her join our class!

The Spelling words this week are: she, ship, shell, dish, wish, and the bonus word is Miss Donlevy.  The spelling test is on Friday.

The letter this week is Xx and the number is 50.  Uh oh, what food item will I come up with that starts or ends with the letter x?  Sharing is on Thursday.

PAC lunch orders were due on Monday, we have schnieder electric coming in on Tuesday, a pottery lesson on Wednesday, and Popcorn day on Wednesday.  Don’t forget your loonie!

Rain rain rain!  Lots of rain!  Remember that when it’s raining lots outside, we keep your child inside during recess and lunch.  This means they may be very restless at the end of the day and need to get some fresh air!

You will be getting a field trip notice to Witty’s Lagoon this week!  We need lots of parent volunteers please!  If you would like to see the information handout, follow the link on the right.

The Victoria Art Gallery was here doing a music and art lesson!  We looked at famous pictures with music, and then drew our own pieces using pastels.

Social Studies: Still working on “Me” stuff and family stuff as well as roles and responsibilities!  Please send me a family photo as soon as you can!
